Welcome to the website of Stiine Liv Arts & Crafts — a webshop with a selection of handmade arts and crafts created by Stiine Liv Høffner, and hand-picked secondhand objects.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website.
1. Definitions
"Website" refers to Stiine Liv Arts & Crafts accessible at www.stiineliv.dk.
“We”, “us”, “our” and “me“ refer to Stiine Liv Arts & Crafts.
“You” and “your” refer to the user or customer accessing or using our website.
“Art”, “items” and “products” refers to the art pieces or second hand objects available for sale on our website.
“Services” refers to and include:
Selling art, crafts and secondhand products
Customised art made on request
Providing customer service for the correct functioning of our website
Maintenance of the website and webshop
E-mail marketing
Posting and advertising on social media

3. Products
Stiine Liv Arts & Crafts sells the following products:
Art and crafts, made by the artist and owner of this webshop, Stiine Liv Høffner
1st grade / first grade art and crafts, which can for an example be a 1st grade print or a 1st grade flower. Art and crafts are in this category unless anything else is stated in the product headline, and hence, on your invoice. For an art or craft piece to go in the “1st grade” category, it has to be in condition as if it was new, and be made by the standard held by the artist herself. “1st grade” does not refer to your own, subjective opinion of the art itself.
2nd grade / second grade arts and crafts, which can for an example be a 2nd grade print or 2nd grade flower. If any art or craft belongs in this category, it will be made clear in the headline of the product description, and hence, on your invoice. An art or craft piece will go in the “2nd grade category”, if it has minor mistakes regarding the condition — eg. if the paper is slightly bend, if a print quality is not ideal, if the colors of a paper flower is faded, or if a piece in any other way is not living up to the standards of the artist.
Customised art and crafts made on inquiry
Secondhand products, which includes clothes, jewellery, vases or other items that have had a life before and been pre-owned. These products have either been our own, or have been carefully selected in secondhand and thrift shops. These products may have signs of wear and tear, some may be small, some may be clearly visible and some may be non-existent, but all secondhand items are functional to their intentional purpose of use. The quality of these items are described in the product page and relevant pictures are shown.
Please note: If the product is either a secondhand or 2nd grade item, it is made clear in the headline of the product description.
4. Purchase and Payment
When making a purchase on our website, we require the information we need to fulfil your purchase and provide you with the best experience possible.
The information we collect are; your full name, telephone number, e-mail, postal address, billing address and payment details. We save the information received upon checkout for the purpose of fulfilling your order and making our website run effectively. When your order has been fulfilled, we store the needed information in accordance to the Danish Accounting Act (bogføringsloven) and the Danish authorities.
4.1 Pricing
All prices on our website are listed in Danish kroner (DKK) and include any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice.
4.2 Payment
You can pay for your order at www.stiineliv.dk. Your payment is only deducted from your card when the order has been completed and shipped out from us.
For custom orders and orders where the products are specially made to or adapted to your wishes, payment may be collected in advance.
4.3 Payment Methods
Payments can be made with Apple Pay, PayPal, or Stripe.com, Squarespace’s integrated payment system. We do not store card information on the website. By providing a payment, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method and authorize us to charge that payment method for the total amount of your purchase.
Stripe accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express. PayPal accepts Visa and Mastercard, and the most of the big, international payment cards.
4.4 Order Confirmation
When you place an order and complete a payment, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail that we have received your order. Please review the details you provided, and make sure to write me straight away, if you find that there has been any mistakes regarding the details you provided in your address. This confirmation e-mail does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right to accept or refuse a service or sale for any reason at any time.
4.5 Order Processing and Completion
When your order has been processed, you will receive an update that it has shipped. You will receive the confirmation on the e-mail you provided us with upon checkout.
5. Shipping and Delivery
It is your responsibility to provide us with the right delivery address upon checkout, and that you yourself have the opportunity to either pick up your order at the chosen delivery point, or to be home to receive it. When possible, I use second hand materials for wrapping and packaging. Safe arrival of your order is top priority, but the packaging may bare signs of or have scratches from previous use. So when possible to combine safe postage with recycled boxes or wrapping, we will do so. If for any reason it may be important that an order is shipped in completely new packaging, please inform me in the note on checkout.
5.1 Shipping
Stiine Liv Arts & Crafts is located in Copenhagen, Denmark, where all orders will be shipped from. We offer shipping within Denmark.
Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on the chosen shipping method and the weight and “delicacy” of the purchased art pieces.
Please note, that shipping and delivery can take a little longer in times of holidays and vacations. During these, it may happen that the webshop is closed — in that case, it will show in the banner at the top of the website, with information about when you can expect your order to be processed and shipped.
Your order is shipped and wrapped in recycled materials. The cardboard box and the other packaging have had a life before they are used to send your order, which is why you may see wear and tear on the packaging. Safe arrival of your order is always top priority, and we make sure to wrap the products carefully and safely prior to the shipping.
If for any reason it may be important that an order is shipped in completely new packaging, please inform me in the note on checkout.

5.2 Delivery
Expect the delivery of your 0rder to be between 3-7 weekdays after your purchase. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers. Disagreements or disputes related to the delivery of packages are between you and PostNord.

5.3 Pickup in Person
It is possible to make an appointment to pick up your order in Østerbro, Copenhagen. If you chose “Store Pickup” as delivery upon checkout, I will contact you within 1-2 weekdays after the purchase to coordinate the pickup. Expect available times for pickup within 2-5 weekdays (in case of vacation or holiday season, it may be longer — in that case, look for notifications in the banner at the top of the web). The pickup will be at my address in Østerbro, Copenhagen and the exact location will be provided after purchase.
Please make sure to check the spam filter in your mailbox.
If you do to reply to my e-mail, I will send another. In case I do not hear from you after the second e-mail, I will contact you through text/SMS.

5.4 Unclaimed Packages
If you chose the option “Post office / Package box” when making your purchase, your order will arrive at the nearest package shop of the address you entered. You will receive a SMS/e-mail about the parcel's arrival at the parcel shop.
You have 7 calendar days to collect your package.
If the package is not collected within these 7 calendar days, it will be returned to me.
If the package is returned to me, it is at a shipment cost of 55 DKK — this shipment cost is non-refundable, and is deducted from the purchase amount, if you want the money back for your order or an item. If you want the package sent back to you, it costs an additional 55 DKK.
5.5 Lost Packages
In case a package gets lost during delivery, you need to contact PostNord and report it to me. Write to: contact@stiineliv.dk
5.6 Damaged Packages or Items
Please inspect the package and your order for visible damage upon receiving. Damaged packages or items must always be reported to me on e-mail. If any damage has been made to the package or items within due to shipping, you have to be able to showcase documentation of the damage as stated below:
Damage of the packaging must be documented with photos before opening it.
Damage of items due to damage of the packaging must be documented with photos as well.
In case of damage due to shipping, the courier needs to have the possibility to pick up the package in the original packaging on the address it was delivered to.
If the package or any items have been damaged by the shipping, please contact me right away and no later than two days after receiving your package:
Make sure to attach pictures as stated above.

You may lose the right to compensation, if you do not comply with the above.
5.7 Typos and Faulty Shipping Address
Please note that we can not be held accountable for mistakes or typos you may have made in providing us with your shipping address during checkout. If you realise that you have provided me with incorrect information, make sure to contact me as soon as possible. Please note, it is not enough just to update your address in your custom account!

In case you notice that you have provided us with a wrong shipping address and we have already shipped your order, when you notify us, you are accountable for the additional shipping fees that will be added due to the returning and delivery of the order.
6. Return Policy
If you for any reason wish to return your order for a refund, you may do so within 14 days of delivery. This is due to the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven). Please note, that custom made items (products that have been made especially for your needs or wishes) are not eligible for return.
The right to return an item expires 14 days after receiving it.
You have to report the return on e-mail within 14 days of receiving the order.
Make sure to hand in the item(s) for return within 14 days.
You are responsible for the shipping costs of returning the item(s).
You are liable for any damage or deterioration of the item(s) until I receive it again.
Refusing to receive a package upon delivery does not count as a return of your purchase, and are not automatically eligible for a refund.

7. Refunds
If you have made a return according to the Return Policy, you will receive your refund within 14 weekdays after I’ve received the returned item(s) safely and undamaged. However, this does not apply to unclaimed packages and custom made items. The original payment method will be credited, minus any shipping charges.
Please note that refunds are not possible in the following cases:
Shipping fees are not eligible for refunds, neither the one spend on purchase nor on returning items.
Cancellation of orders that have already been dispatched, are not eligible for a refund of shipping fees. In case an order is cancelled before dispatching, shipping costs will be refunded too.
In case the item(s) has been damaged or in any way deteriorated due to non-careful handling or lackful packaging, the refund you receive will be based on the lost cost of the item(s). Deterioration can for an example be prints or paper flowers that have been handled without the adequate care, so that the petals or corners of the prints has been curled, bend or in other way broken or does not appear new.
Custom made items (products that have been made especially for your needs or wishes) are not eligible for return and refund.
8. Customer Accounts
You have the option to create a customer account to make it easier to checkout another time. In your profile, you can see all your previous orders. You have the option to save you address, phone number and payment method. By logging in, you can delete these informations or your account at any time.
I do not have access to the information you may add to your account. I only have the information provided on checkout which is needed for the fulfilment and identification of your order. I only save the information you provide me with upon checkout for the purpose of documentation of sales needed in accordance with the Danish bogføringslov.
Password
I do not have access to your password, and neither can I change it for you, in case you forget it. Please reset your password by choosing “Account” in the menu and click “Forgot password”.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including images, text, graphics, logos, and designs, is the property of Stiine Liv Arts & Crafts or its content suppliers and it is not permitted to use, copy or reproduce, sell or resell content from our website stiineliv.dk without our written permission. All content is protected by intellectual property laws.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stiine Liv Arts & Crafts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
(i) your use or inability to use the website;
(ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
(iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the website;
(iv) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our website by any third party;
(v) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the website.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Denmark.
12. Right of Complaint and Warranty
If you discover a faulty in an item, you have a 24 months right of complaint when purchasing goods from stiineliv.dk. Depending on the specific case, this means that you can either get the item exchanged, repaired, receive a discount on the price or the money back. This is due to the rules of the Danish Purchase Act (Købeloven).
The complaint has to be justified, and it is required that the damage or deficiency did not arise as a result of incorrect use of the item or other damage-causing behaviour.
If you wish to file a complaint, you have to do so within two years of discovering the defect.
Write to me on e-mail: contact@stiineliv.dk to file a complaint — make sure to provide me with a detailed description of the defect and the required photographic documentation.
In case we can’t reach an agreement on the validity of your complaint, you have to option to file a complaint with the relevant authority in the area, if the conditions for this are met.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page. Therefore, we advise the users of our website and services to review this page periodically to keep updated on any changes. If you have signed up for our mailing list, we will notify you there about changes to the Terms.
